Finalists will be announced at a CEDAR Gala event in Autumn/Winter 2010, which will be tied in with the EU presidency.  Bringing together top ten finalists, mainstream and minority media, prominent partners and friends and the List’s celebrated judges this event will commend the achievements of European Muslim women in a plethora of fields. With an evening of inspirational speakers, live music, art and a banquet dinner, the Gala event will celebrate European Muslim Women’s achievements. The event will raise awareness of European Muslim Women’s contribution to European life, diversify the mainstream representation of Muslim women, and inspire accomplishment across Europe’s diverse communities. 

 

In addition to membership of CEDAR and all paid for high profile networking events across Europe, finalists will benefit from:

• Ongoing media and public showcasing of nominees and their work; 

• And of course, a specially designed, personal CEDAR "Women of Influence 2010 plaque;

By accepting the award, what will the Top 10 Finalists be committing to?

• Attendance of at least two CEDAR events in 2010;
  

• Championing European Muslim Women of Influence in at least one media interview;
  

• Being publicly profiled as a European Muslim Woman of Influence.
